[Photocatalyst Proposal Case] Inquiry about Indoor Deodorization

Struggling with odor removal! Here is an example of a proposal to apply photocatalysts to fabrics and areas not exposed to light using a special formulation for dark places.

We would like to introduce a case where our company proposed photocatalysts for indoor deodorization. In the past, during tenant turnover, we have been replacing wallpaper and vinyl CF sheets on the floors as part of renovations and conducting cleaning. However, there are instances where lingering odors from daily life remain, making it challenging to address deodorization. We received inquiries asking if there are methods to eliminate such room odors. As a cost-effective solution, we proposed three methods: "applying photocatalysts not only to walls and floors but also to fabrics," "applying dark area photocatalysts in places where light does not reach," and "occasionally humidifying the space." 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - There are instances where lingering odors from daily life remain, making deodorization challenging. - The types of odors mainly include musty smells, odors from food habits differing due to foreign nationals' diets, tobacco smells, and perfume-like odors from women. ■ Proposal - Apply photocatalysts not only to walls and floors but also to fabrics like curtains. - Apply dark area photocatalysts in places where light does not reach, such as inside closets, under the kitchen, and behind toilets. - Occasionally humidify the space. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

This document introduces the use of photocatalysts for deodorization inside vehicles. It explains the types of odors, points to consider regarding each odor when using photocatalysts, and their effects. Additionally, it includes case studies, making it a useful reference when considering implementation. We encourage you to read it. 【Contents】 ■ Odors and the effects of photocatalysts ■ Case studies ・Okinawa Prefecture: Nakazato Paint ・Tokyo: ADVINTAGE *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
